The client wanted a multi-functional outbuilding with bar functionality, storage, and year-round usability. We designed and built a fully insulated timber structure with electrics, durable flooring, and bespoke finishes.
Key Steps in the Project
Groundwork and Foundations:
We cleared and levelled the area, then installed concrete foundations and a damp-proof membrane.
Structure Construction:
We constructed the timber frame using pressure-treated wood, added insulation, and wrapped the structure in breathable membranes.
Interior Finishing:
The inside was completed with stylish wall panels, waterproof flooring, built-in shelving, lighting, and wiring for a fridge and sound system.
Exterior Cladding and Roofing:
We finished the structure with weatherproof cladding and a durable, sloped roof for drainage and longevity.
Results
The finished garden bar is a beautiful, fully functional outdoor space that can be enjoyed year-round. It adds both value and personality to the home.
