EZ Builders were a key component in the restoration of our Victorian flat, which had not been touched since 1980. The work they undertook included: the installation of a completely... Read more new electrical wiring system (including moving the fuse board, and all new sockets); extensive plumbing (including the installation of an electric combi-boiler-based central heating system with radiators, towel rail, shower, sinks and toilet; full replastering of most of the walls and ceilings and tiling of the bathroom and kitchen. Dinko, Peter and their team were recommended to us by a friend of a friend, and what a great find they were, particularly in central London! They were very likeable, courteous and professional. Dinko accommodated an unforeseen delayed start, due to a long wait for Listed Buildings Consent, with good grace and flexibility. The team also dealt with very specific requirements including the fitting of complex light fittings, non-standard shower units and an elaborate bathroom tiling installation. The plumbing had to fit around our wish to maximise every mm of space - winding copper pipes through very specific, small wall cavities (with great difficulty) and included the installation of original (non-standard) victorian fittings. The plastering of the ceiling and walls involved matching, and not disturbing, the original Victorian cornicing. All in all, we couldn’t wish to have found a more pleasant team of people to work with. As others have mentioned, their work ethic is very impressive: working from early until late as much as is required, and rarely stopping for a break.
